Here you’ll find all the details about bringing home a Burani Golden Retriever, including payment, vet care, registration, and what to expect before pickup.

At Burani Golden Retrievers, what you see is what you get.

Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home until they're 5 weeks old, then moved outside to a larger area. Our dogs are all house trained, use a doggy door and are cat friendly with our cats.

We have an application process in place for any families interested. Just reach out through our contact page or via email and we can go through it all together!

Payment Information

We never ask for deposits. If you come to collect your puppy and aren’t happy, there is no pressure to purchase. We require either cash upon collection or, if paying by bank deposit, funds need to be cleared in our account 2 days prior to pick up or being collected by transport company. We do not accept bank transfers placed on the day of pick up.

Puppy purchase contracts will need to be signed by the purchaser and myself, we email this prior so all paperwork can be ready to collect. Receipt for payment will be in the Puppy Pack.

Vet Care

All our breeding dogs are fully health tested before breeding, including hips and elbows, heart tested, DNA tested and they are eye tested yearly.

Our vet has been working with us since we began breeding to ensure consistent quality of care. We work closely with Animal Clinic in Maffra who know us and our dogs and have made sure they’ve been well looked after over the years.

Puppies are vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas before they leave. Puppies are wormed fortnightly. Puppies are vet checked at 3 weeks and again at 6 weeks of age and will come with a Vet Clearance Form from our vet.

Registration

Lisa and her dogs are fully registered with Dogs Victoria and The Golden Retriever Club of Victoria. All of her dogs are on Main's Register.

Puppies are sold on Limited Register, this means they are pets only (not for breeding or showing).

- Information Folder
- Copies of their parent's hip, elbow, heart and eye certificates.
- 30 days of free pet insurance through Trupanion Pet Insurance.
- Food that the puppies have been raised on (IMPORTANT: please check your Information Folder in your Puppy Pack BEFORE changing their diet).
- Toys, blanket, collar and lead
- Golden Retriever handbook

Transport/Courier

Any transport required for your puppy (including interstate) needs to be arranged and paid for by the purchaser. Transport or courier companies would need to collect from our property - we will not meet elsewhere. Lisa has recommendations for some reputable couriers upon request.

Diet

Puppies have been raised on Black Hawk Dry Food and Prime 100 Roll. (IMPORTANT: please check your Information Folder in your Puppy Pack BEFORE changing their diet).

Important Dates

Puppy visits are welcome once the puppies have been vaccinated and vet-checked at six weeks of age.

We appreciate families being on time collection days with preference before 12pm each day.
